NO the oil ring ends don't need gapping, you need to squeeze all the ziggy part in the groove when fitting the pistons in the bore/s.

Cheers tabetha but whats the best way of doing this? Iv seen people do it with long noes pliers before to scrunch the ziggy bit together untill it fitted in the groove a a whole if that makes sense?
