Been thinking, is it still under warranty? If it is, you could get your mate to reset the speed limiter, then if it won't start, book it in at your local dealer as a non starter and get it done for nothing lol. Only bad side to that though is, depending on how busy they are, you could be in for a wait, we're always snowed under with quality broken down Fords and they get looked at on a first come, first served basis. Just a thought, i would think the easiest way would be just to book it in and have it done though.
