How on earth do you change it on a MK2 ? Found a couple of screws when i pulled the ashtray and the surround for it out, removed those, nothing happened? Can figure out how to remove it? It doesnt work, its not the fuse, so need to change it

Hi did you manage to change the cigarette lighter without taking the console off? i have the same problem, changed the fuse (which was blown) but lighter still not working. There must be power getting to it as it does illuminate.
