Default Wheel help

Hi,

I went to take the car for a well deserved spin today, only to be greeted by a flat passenger tyre, turns out it has a puncture, the car has Masitaly VTR5 alloys which were fitted when I brought the car, I have one standard lattice wheel which I plan to revert to once I can find a decent set that is, so I thought it would be a good time to try the wheel on to see what it would look like and also I was going to temporarily put it on the car while I went to get the other tyre sorted. To my surprise it does not fit, it has standard brakes as well.

The wheel does not sit properly on the hub, if I push the wheel in the bottom and so at an angle it sits at the bottom ok. It seems to be the top of the tyre thats to close to the suspension strut causing the problem and thus why it won't sit flush on the hub, it has Koni struts not that this makes any difference.

The tyres are both standard width as well, has anyone got any ideas or experienced this before?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Martin
