sure some will go bust but ultimately haulage is still a supply and demand business just like any other and at the moment there are enough haulers able to undercut each other that the big retailers etc supplying contracts can hold haulers to ransom with rock bottom prices. As the number of haulers drops that power balance will shift and retailers will have to pay more to shift goods round the country. its as simple as that and obviously the prices of goods will go up to compensate.
shops and business's will NOT struggle to get stock due to lack of deliveries.
