my first port of call would be turning engine to tdc then where the rotar arm on the dizzy is put no1 lead..this should be close enough to start it up..if not starting still, i would as above, push fuel flap slightly whilst cranking.. i always have an issue with starting as it only gets used once in a blue moon

i thought these injectors need to be in the head to inject fuel cos the vacuum required.
i removed mine when i had a faulty one and when i turned engine over nothng came out the injectors.
soon as i put them in the head though it ran fine
so cant see how putting em in a jar will work
you need to push the piss flap down to see fuel, I thought mine were shagged when I took them out of engine and nothing came out
