I am having trouble with my passat 1.8 20v 1999


I have asked on a few vw forums but they are a bunch of wankers and dont help no one so i thought i might try here as i know you lot are very helpful

After a few miles driving it starts to run like shit and the cat stinks so i plugged my comp in it and get the code C1500. I have been all over the net but not had any luck finding the code. I have tried a new air flow meter and that didnt fix it so i have a feeling its the lamba sensor causing me the trouble.

Any help on this would be great guys as i am about ready to burn the fecker out
