Basically I want to know how much play is normal on the turbine in my turbo. Iv'e read that a"bit" of play is normal, so how much is a bit? I've got about 2, maybe 3 mm of left to right play, but no noticable in/out play. I also have oily residue in the intake pipe from the intercooler, and also in the pipe coming from the charge carrier. Any advice greatly appreciated, I think the turbo's knackered! p.s. There is a small amount of blue smoke on decelaration, none on start up.
