That's hilarious!!!it's the insurance companies in conjunction with the government that came up with these schemes and categories.
The only problem is that if you have to claim on the car then they pay you out less,I think it's about 20%?
if a vic was required,which it isn't always on cat c then that would be their only real grounds for refusing insurance.
Go elsewhere,that insurance company aren't worth a wank if they won't insure a car that's been inspected by a government institution and has passed an Mot etc.
