No, of couse not, they tell you what the limits are and IIRC by appointment you can go and get tested ahead of the event if you are in any doubt, so if you still turn up with a car that is too noisey despite all that why should they be out of pocket as a result of that?

also, is it really £25 per passenger, a couple of my friends may want to bring wives and girlfriends, also i was gonna ask my brother to come in his car to lug any tools and spares, is this gonna cost him (or me) £25 too??
You only have to pay to be a passenger if you want to go in a car or in the pits on the track, there is another carpark area they could sit in all day for free though if they wanted.
Would be a fucking boring day out though, its not a spectator track at all really so if you arent driver or passenger you're going to be bored IMHO
