Yes the front arb change was to give extra castor and more straight line stability .....what I meant was that on the pre-production cars they experimented with a quite different type of inner joint for the TCA. I just wondered if you'd ever seen one somehow and adapted the idea slightly for your own car.
They then trialled a solid nylon/plastic bush I believe but abandoned that as well for a more compliant one.
