Default battery warning light coming on

Hi, I have recently bought a focus 1.8 tdci 2004 86K i noticed it didnt start too well first thing in the morning so i took it back to the garage where i had bought it from who done a fault reading on it and came up with the following:-
p0100 mass/volume air flow circ error
p0622 generator field f ctrl circ error
p1632 smart alternator fault sensor

All of which were supposedly fixed. I found the can started alot better and the car was alot more responsive so i was happy.

Its been a week now and gradually the morning start up problem has returned although it is fine after the initial start as you can turn the ignition off straight away and start it again and it will fire up straight away so im not sure why this is?

Another problem is at any point whilst driving the battery light comes on and stays on till you turn the engine off and then when you turn it on again the battery light will go out. This can happen after 10 seconds of driving or 30 mins.

I have had the alternator reading on the digital dash running whilst driving and it was between 13-14v until the battery light came on then it when down to 12v and then i stopped and put the fan on radio lights etc and the reading went down to 10v dont know if this is helpful?

I have read that these cars need a calcium battery but i have noticed mine is a regular lead battery could this cause a problem?

Any advice will be welcome as i am very confused
