Default lambda sensor fitment

been offered the innovate LC-1 air/fuel ratio monitor from my mate motor cheap, but he doesnt have the lambda sensor for it.

can i use any 5 wire wideband spec lambda sensor? if so, where is best to get hold of 1, and what sort of ballpark figure am i looking at?

also, where is best to locate the sensor itself? if im right, its supposed to be a minimum specified distance from the turbo to avoid it baking to death, so im thinking fit it in the downpipe just behind the sump, so i can run the wiring down the bulkhead. would this be an ok location for an accurate enough reading?
