thanks. i got a base map off a focus rs and was thinking it was a good place to start. the focus ignition table is to retard for my engine because at 1100rpm the manifold starts to glow. il try to post a pic on because my map looks abit diffrent to the maps ive see on here

Advance it up then but make sure it's not idling at 16 or 17:1 like your post in General Discussion says. It needs to be around 14.7:1. Running leaner than this only creates more heat adding to your glowing manifold problem.
You need to get it idling at 14:1 then add some more ignition advance. Not the other way round.
