Default Q. Upgrading internals.?

When replacing 2WD internals, what's the best way to go (within reason). Currently running around the 400hp mark, 200 block 1m oversize (according to my records, not measured personally).

I heard the 4x4 rods are off-set slightly reducing the force on the thrust side of the piston.? How much of a big deal is this.?

Mine currently has +1mm Mahle pistons, would these need swapping to match later rods.?

And finally, are the steel rods like Farndon etc offset too..didnt see any mention of it whilst sniffing about.
