You sure it's the accelerator sticking? Try and get it to do it with the bonnet open, and engine running. See if you can close the throttle by hand..
I say this because it's more likely be the idle control valve sticking open if the car just sits there and revs at 3000rpm or so.
If not, new throttle cable.
Thanks for the reply,It drives normal,the revs dont stick at all,just the throttle pedal is very hard to press down when you want to accelerate,then after the intial sticking it is fine just very annoying
