they aint strong at all on standard rods and pistons, plus porous heads had to be helped out by cosworth hence the coscast,the rod bolts snap if you run above 20psi on a k16 then they stretch as i found out, the kkk16 turbos arnt very good, and iirc i dont think ive seen a standard c20let over a Genuine 300+bhp and last a while.

My c20let was built my chris astley and lasted 2k miles, apr rod bolts, new mahles, cometic 1.9mm, recon k16, xe inlet cam and adjustable pulley,eds ph2,actuator, tx £2 downpipe and exhaust, etc... lasted 8 days in my ownedship
