Ive been in this situation in the past and trust me it's not an easy decision to make.
I was in Situation many 15 yrs ago where I was being blamed for something that had nothing to do with me and found myself in the high court ( Scotland ) being charged with armed robbery. I was told it was likely that I would be found guilty and sentenced to between 5 & 8 yrs unless I stood up and told what I knew.
I did actually think about taking my chances on the jury but my then girlfriend told me to wise up as I didn't owe the real culprits anything and it was them that had tried to set me up for the fall to get off theirselves and I ended standing up in the dock and told the truth and THEY all ended getting off on a technicality.
But they could have went down and it would have been down too me but I honestly don't think I would have lost any sleep over it.
I suppose it all depends on the circumstances at the time and what the end result could be for yourself
if they set you up then fuck them,
they would obviously do it to you(as they did),
but the way to look at it is would they do it to you?
unless your 100% sure they would stick you in without blinking an eye
then never say anything, thats the way i see it anyhow
