Looking to purchase an Escort this week. Overall great condition for the age with a lot of history.

I know this is a very broad question, so don't slate me for the lack of information....

But is it likely to have done much damage? Kinda hoping its just a case of helicoil and new plugs/leads.

Apart from a replacement head, could there be anything worse that would need replacing??

Appreciate any advice you can give me.
