there is the roof
with tiles on it
and some lining under the tiles
but nothing else
so it gets COLD up there

so that's the first port of call

once that's done then i can worry about the rest of it

i've also got an open chimney so that's soemthing that can let the air flow around, but i need to stop all the heat from coming out of it so that's the next step once the insulation stuff is done
