I have a Mk3 TDDI which had a bit of a stutter at 2000rpm and the turbo didn't seem like it was kicking in, after trying a few things I gave up and took it to Ford.

There were no fault codes showing but they did download an update which seemed to rectify the stutter.

The car now seems to drive ok at low revs but I think it should have more power above 2200rpm, it is the only Mondeo I've driven so the only car I can compare it to is a Vectra DTI I had.

Ford say it may be the injectors, and it didn't show a fault because the injectors are mechanical, if this is the problem, can the injectors be removed and cleaned?

I'm not to familiar with diesels in this respect as I've had mainly petrols in the past.
