Managed to get it for £50 and fitted it myself so was a cheap but very effective mod.

Although what a son of a bitch it was to get the Sensor out!!!!

Love the noise of it now, Also got it on the motorway for a blast and even in standard form it goes ok higher in the gears.

Mods will be in this order.

Front Pipe (completes exhaust so 3 inch from front to back)

Autospecialists CAIS (in red)

Airtec GEN 3 Cooler.

Some sort of suspension set up.

Hoses for the bay in red of course.!

Polybush kit Front + Rear.

REEEEEEMAAAAPPPPP.

Then when funds allow im thinking of the modified turbo or GT28, Brakes etc etc.

Im also interested in the quaife option.... £1400 fitted by AMD makes me think it could be good. Anyone driven a 300hp+ one with a quaife in it and what was it like?

Just worried about these bottom end issues im hearing about.

Although pumaspeed reckon their 350 kit is 100% reliable im not hearing goodd things about Pumabuild though so will steer clear!

My friend has got a a full Wolf 330 ST. That's got the full exhaust, cias, intercooler and a Wolf turbo (same size compressor wheel as the RS) This car is fast and is very happy to spin the wheels up in 4th. Although the standard ST clutch give up after 90 miles. We have since replaced it with an RS clutch/flywheel set up. I got all the parts incl bolts with a Ford EMP discount for £445 incl vat and surcharge (retail is £590 +vat and surcharge)
Even my car with its 275 map is having issues with clutch slippage as the pressure plate its poor. So im buying an RS clutch setup for myself. So keep this in mind when your tuning yours.
One thing to take note with a high tuned ST engine is to make sure its kept cool (oil/water) as if its not it can lead to a cracked liner and that means a new block at the least!
