as sure as water is wet, and the sky is blue, unless its a low mileage, pampered, and lives on a bed of feathers saff, it will have rust somewhere mate.

the mk1 and mk2 mondeos are newer, but there just as bad. i know an ST24 that has just been scrapped, it was two years newer than mine, and done half the miles, and on the top side, there wasnt a spot of rust, arches, no where, it looked from the outside, like a concours car, but get underneath it, and the sills, floor pans, and chassis legs, were rotten as a pear, so it got scrapped. but obviously V6 mondys are ten a penny, you scrap it, and buy another one, but even a rotten saff, is worth saving, because there worth good money.

and like i said, as far as everyday usage saffs go, your looks pretty sturdy mate. wont take much to sort that.
