hi , new to this site and hoping for a little help.
I have recently inherited a 1.8td escort finesse estate, the problem being that the battery light on the dash does not illuminate when i turn the ignition on, but it does flicker on and off while the engine turns over before starting ! the blue wire from the alternator seems fine it goes live about 10v when ignition on so cant see why the light wont come on ?
Any all help appreciated, oh yeh the battery went flat today to.
