When traveling slow and i put the brakes on, the abs kicks in. Its a 4 x 4 and I was told that it may be damage to a drive shaft where the sensor picks up but never had it checked. Can a diagnostic be run on the ABS and will this pick up on the fault, ie sensors fine. Need to get it fixed soon as its getting worse and dont want to get ripped off by replacing sensors which have nothing wrong with them only to have to fit a new drive shaft later.
im not a mechanic so i may be talking crap abot the sensor picking up at the drive shaft but thats what i was told?
