You can use the amal valve for two stage boost. What to do is set the actuator at your lower level, say 10 psi. Then with the amal valve off (not live) you will run 10 psi, as you are bleeding no air off. Then if you switch the valve on you will be bleeding control air off to the actuator ( the same way a bleed valve does) and you will run a higher boost level. This level (ive found a bit of experimenting helps) can be controlled by the size of restrictor you have in the vent port on the amal valve, it will ahve to be quite large for a big differential in boost levels (approx 3mm for 7psi).
