Point I was making is that if the lower octane fuel had caused it detonate and blow a ring-land apart or melt a piston, then it would pass oil. This would have been caused by using the wrong fuel
However, turbo oil seal failure or valve stem seals would have nothing to do with the wrong fuel being used.
