Amal valve what your car comes with from the factory is great why change it?
Different boost settings for track/road or wet/dry, gear based boost control for aiding traction in the lower gears, rpm vs boost mapping for eliminating boost spikes and boost drop off at high rpm, scramble boost a bit extra when you want/need it, etc.. etc...

Apexi AVC-R is what I use mate, great controller but it is expensive, and yes all the functions work on an MFI car!
Fitting.. follow the wiring/plumbing diagrams and it goes in place of your Amal valve (bleed valve if you have one fitted).
