I'm needing to change the cam and followers in my Escort, as is rattling like hell now, and may as well slip in an uprated one while im doing the job.

It's a 1989/1990 Ford Escort Sport, 1.6 CVH, carb feb (weber 28/32[TLDM?]) with Ashley 4-branch manifold and Ashley full system.

I want to liven the car up, but don't want something that will make it unable to tick over, and need to be driven absolutly balls out everywhere, so i'm hoping folk with experience can advise me on what brand and model of cam would be best suited.
