front tie bars will be the problem, brothers have had many mk2 fezs everyone same thing, very big clunk on acceleration and letting off exact same as theirs take about 15 mins to change, get them on ebay for a few quid aswell, unless engine movement very excessive I will gurantee those are the problem!
