When I bought my 3dr many moons ago I killed the clutch that was in it. As I was feeling alittle broke due to just buying the car I had a rummage around in the parts department where I was working at the time (it was once a Ford dealership so had lots of old odds and sods left over from 70's and 80's) and I found an asbestos clutch listed for a 70's tranny....one of the best clutches for feel that I ever fitted to my 3dr, did smell a bit odd at times though lol

Thats the same set up Im currently running, bit naff in traffic but no where near as bad as AP four paddles.

Mr Sheads suggestion is the best one so far for the OP's spec
