right ive got an update on my clattering noise
ive been told my mechanic mate thats its excesive diesel knock probably caused by timing,now i know theres not timing timing like there is on a petrol model but there is timing right?im wondering now,wether it could be caused by a cam sensor or crank sensor breaking down,as these are dead cheap parts to buy.
my symptoms are
1.misfireing when doin a steady speed-sometimes it dont do it,sometimes very slight and on occasions quite bad.
2.starting up-would tick over at about 500 to less revs then after about 5-10 secs find its way and be fine.seems to have stopped now??or for now
3. the dreaded clattering diesel knock.
im aware of the injector probs,and also aware of the costs regarding them,so i would like to know if anyone has any ideas of the above.
