These are okish engines!main problems are alternators going down,turbos can be a problem,being a z19dth the swirl flaps on the inlet manifold can be a problem which if they fail require a new inlet manifold!if the car has a dpf they do indeed need to be taken for a steady run on the motorway every now and again the regen the dpf
