As said should be able to see what is bent, use a straight edege if necessary, but bottom arms and track rods are the favourite, the track rods can simply be replaced by screwing into the rack end, very easy job, note we are talking about the track rod between the rack and the end joint.
It is also perfectly possible to straighten these, but should only be done with heat, ie glowing red, but if in doubt I would guess they would be about £20 or so new from fords.
