So how would it be done? I know you'd need to grind a bit of the block on the Silvertop as the starter fouls on the edge, and on the Blacktop the sump has pickup points for the gearbox itself. Failing that I'd love to be able to fit the 6 speeder into my Mk1 - but using the same bolt holes/front starter as a BC box as then I can mount it on a bearer and not have to faff with custom mounts.
Possible to weld a BC bellhousing to a 6 speeder?
the box will bolt up fine with the 6 bolts onto the block, and yes you will need a custom braket for the centre shaft,luca had one made when he went dry sump have a look in his resto
