the problem is the bleeding heart liberals would argue that why shouldnt poor people live in nice houses and that to force poor people to live in shit holes is classism in action
people on benefits should be entitled to safe, habitable accommodation and just enough money to live on. After all that is the point of benefits. Benefits are not a lifestyle option instead of working. The very fact that the system has ended up like that shows they pay far too much and make it too easy to play the system.
