hi all
need a bit of advice please,before the mondy gets it!a few months ago i changed the aux belt and tensioner to rid the annoying rumble(for a used tensioner)but none the less things were better,not perfect but better.the usual clattering tho remained,worse still when the aircon was to the point of embarasing so just wouldnt use it.so i got me a new(yes new) crank pulley,but for a transit 350 pulley but same config of mounting holes and diameter the same.

after 4 hours of trying to get the stuborn bolts out,even with an impact wrench,i finally got the new one on and was big grinning with excitment thinking i was finally gonna have a nice quiet mondy,but nooooo still the same clattering and the belt and tensioner are flapping and vibrating all over the place now.
so my question is....what is this F*****ing clattering and why are the belt and tensioner now misbeaving like this

the car...2004 mondeo 2.0tdci 57k soon to be moddied with a jerry can and match
