Its all in the detail and quality of parts used , reliability costs much more than outright power
as you have stated yourself your own car keeps breaking down , this is maybee due to the fact you havent spent 100k plus building it ?
Also the power figures maybee not as high as you would expect for that kind of money but again the car is probs built to be reliable rather than pub talk power figures that the car cant cope with
I see many " so called " big bhp cossies that dont look to go that well and if they do they either fall to bits or break down , id rather have 400 bhp that lasts all day the 600 for 2 laps

The prep and play 3 door IMO is one of the best built cars i have seen and will probs be around for years
As said different strokes for different folks, but you really dont know much about my car mate!! its had a fortune spent on it and is built to do what it does,we had two years of hard core ragging out of it untill this year with a bit more power things breaking..
Imo you build a car for something pasific,ie fast road and track, top speed,or full on track/race car and mine is for race and to go around track as fast as i possibly can..
Whats the point in having a bufty race car??or spending 20k on a gearbox when its only 450 hp???some people need to establish what they want from the car...
My car owes me over 90k and gets driven like i stole everytime i go out but hey thats what i wanted it for, full on lunacy!!
Id love to have a fully seq box but then id go 4x4 and need 20 k to handle it and still have trouble from time to time so for me 2wd 600 hp and good handling is what i want,if it breaks fix it...
