They quality you watch the live view at and the quality you playback at are not always the same.
Many CCTV recording DVR's/PC CCTV cards will show live video at 25-30fps & full qiality but can't record at anywhere near this rate or quality.
at 30 frames it's very very good, but the sound quality is poo
at 5 frames per second it's still good enough to see and the sound is the same, but it still takes up nearly half the space as recording in full 30 frame mode rather than just a tiny bit of it
it's time and date stamped too which is a bonus
so now i've just got to figure out hwo to hook it up so that i can record millions of hours of cctv and then join the local neighbourhood watch team
