i've changed the central locking master (it's in the drivers door lock mechanism on the mondeo) twice now, once with new, once with second hand, and even did diagrams that can be found herethe problem originally was that it wouldn't lock with the remote or the key or internally, but after changing it the key works which means everything else should work

plus the battery going flat when the alarm is in "fucked up" mode and yet it's fine when it's in "normal alarm" mode all points to it being the alarm

i've even had all the wires off in the fuse box and stuff looking for a drain, as per deano/sheady's instructions and there's nothing when the alarms working fine

but i don't know when the alarms working fine or not

i' even disconnected the radio and amp and everything else before i started doing the drain test and then started to reconnect everything and there was no drain there either

it's dead now because somethings killed the battery (the indicators going off for the past 24 hours probably ) so i'm stuck with a car that won't move because as soon as you go near it the alarm will go off (assuming there's life in teh battery, which there is because i've got one of them solar powered battery charger thingies wired up too)
