Agree with that.

Football is a team game and England stopped playing as a team around 98.

Too many individuals trying to grab headlines, not enough genuine passion.

Midfield and defence were lacking.

We do have some good players, the squad members prove it in the Prem and Champions league but for whatever reason just don't play like a team when they pull on the white shirt. England often have stinkers against "lesser" teams but play well against the bigger ones when they don't have to deal with 11 men behind the ball everytime they try to attack.


NO excuses though. They were very poor from start to finish. Every game made for some nervous and painful viewing.

Could argue and bitch all day about "that" goal but Germany were the better, more clinical side and deserved the win.
