hi, I've been looking for a 2l pinto for my sierra and have the oppurtunity of a 1600 pinto. I want an engine in and running as soon as possible so I'm tempted to put the 1600 in just now and change again later. If I do this could I use all the parts from the 1600 and just change to a 2.0 bottom end at a later date?? will the 1.6 head go straight on the 2.0 block???

I could also ata push get hold of an 1800 pinto, would it be any better for this than the 1600??? what are the 1800s like as an engine also, not heard anything about them. maybe worth just fitting this and forgetting about a 2.0??
