Powervane rotors (which were the ones Compbrake supply) are made of crap metal. On my friend's Cossie kit, using DS2500s as he normally did with his AP bells and calipers, they warped and hotspotted something cronic. Skimmed them and then used pads that I use all the time on the Evo - turned the discs into a load of metal filings that stuck to his polished wheels, and to the immaculate paint down the side of the car.
I had the same problem with their discs on my last Evo, using their "Hawk Blue" pads. Everytime I braked, you could see the sparks flying down the side of the car at night like some kind of comet / Catherine wheel
