I dont know the answer mate but I do know it's fine to use a NA block or a turbo block, i'm using a NA block and just drilled the oil return hole.
I went this route because NA blocks with good bores are easier to find and will never have seen the sort of temps that a turbo block has and so have a better chance of not cracking and lasting longer

very true, another thing is can i use my standard grind crank in a another block? that doesnt need boring?
