Default New Turbo Blown

Guys, scratching my head with this one.

I built a 1.7 zetec se turbo last year and had the garret turbo reconed and modified to t28 spec by a turbo company. There was nothing wrong with the Turbo, just wanted it checking out to be safe.

However its shat itself after 1 track day and 8hrs of dyno time. The company says its a oil pressure feed problem. The oil pressure is fine, the feed pipe is clear as the vasts amounts of oil down the exhaust pipe varify this. They then said it could be a interupted oil feed problem or a oil pump prob.

I did notice a small amount of bluish smoke before it went bang, but no bearing noises etc etc.

I cant put a new turbo on until I get to the bottom of it. Ive sent it off to another engineer to get an inspection done.

Is it possible the oil seals could have gone first and starved the bearing causing it to sieze to the shaft.

Any help would be appreciated.
