Indoor car covers - good or bad?!
Hi all,
I've searched for information relating to indoor car covers, but nothing appears to be on here yet.
I'm looking to take my car off the road for a period of between 6 months and a year. During that time the car will be stored in an unheated garage (both during summer and winter periods). My garage often gets quite dusty when my car sits in it, so I thought it would be a good idea to get an indoor car cover for it.
However, I have heard some people say that indoor car covers often trap condensation between the paintwork and the cover material, resulting in the bubbling of paint. Does anyone have any experience of using them - good or bad? Can this trapping of condensation actually occur?
I'm now in two minds whether or not to cover the car, or just let it get dusty?!
I was thinking of buying a Classic Additions cover - are these good, or can you buy better ones?
Thanks,
Agar
