Should be easy enough, I had to lower mine when working on my old escort, didnt have to remove it completely but it was easy enough if I needed to, just undone all the bolts and lowered it with a jack.
Ohh ok. I'll rather learn & do it myself/help from mates then to take it to a garage. Last time i eneded up paying something like £400 but that was including new brakes but on top of that it took them 2 weeks to locate a subframe
