if your 25+ and are fully comp then most companies will insure you 3rd pft on other peoples vehicles as long as their fully comp and you have their permission and it states that you can on your insurance policy. what i want to know is. are there any companies that do the same for people under 25 as im only 21 but having this type of cover would be really useful. any info would be great.

Very few companies do it. The companies that did offer it have had their fingers burnt as it gets abused (eg insure a 1.0 L Corsa, drive an Impreza) so have withdrawn it.
