How about you get the best suited tyres for your car and ill do the same then we race round a track and see what choice was better.

Its quite simple, the more rubber you put to the floor the better the handling will be. Using 205 is the perfect width without causing bump steer and following ruts in the road, and 40 is the perfect height to clear the arches and take abuse on corners without rubbing.

215 is too wide and 45 is too high. So you tell me whats best and i may try it on one of my track cars or even on a road car if you think your choice would be so much better than mine after 12 years + of experiance.
listen you are entitled to your opinion and i am mine, and the bloke in question has my old car and it is a road car and not a track car!!!! and i have found on the road 195/45 are better suited for his set up as have used 205/40 and didnt think they were suitable so i gave my opinion (seeing as i know the car and you dont). so get off your high horse.
i am not a little 21 year old with his first rst
