As of today it starts and it stays running ticking over and reving up nicely.
It turned out i did have a good spark but i wasnt getting any fuel upto any of the injectors so i bought another metering unit took off a running car the day before from mart rs off here after a mamoth journey to pick it up. Involveing leaveing work at half 2 spending afew hours sitting in traffic on the m1 and finally got home at half past 8 in the evening with a bad back from the bloody bucket seats.
Any way after swopping the metering units over i tried fireing it up again stilll no joy, still getting no fuel upto the injectors i was already to stick it on a trailor and take it some where
But after checking to see if we were getting anything down the return we werent getting a drop so we uncliped the return in the bay and put it in a bucket, cranked the engine over till we got fuel out of it then connected it back up and went down to the tank end with the bucket again and bleed the air out of the metal under car line and now shes fine starts up from hot and cold everytime ive tried since.
I also managed to get the temperature gauge working in the heater vent pod since i'd put it in it wouldnt move so i thought id got a duff gauge but it turns out it needed an earth running from the sender to the body it didnt say anything about that in the instructions but it works a treat now.
So i'll keep trying it on and off over the next few days just to make sure im still building up fuel pressure and not fluked it then i'll be more happy about taking it to a tuner now its atleast ticking over properly i can get them to check everything over time it up properly and wind some boost in
